Meet in Ragusa or Modica for a short drive to the home of Anita & Emanuele, a 100-year old stone house they lovingly restored, converting the stable into a spacious kitchen. Roll up your sleeves for hands-on cooking lesson based on strictly seasonal ingredients with a focus on using local products such as ricotta, fresh produce and locally grown hard wheat flour, as well as herbs you can pick from our garden. Depending on the season, you’ll learn the secrets of making perfect focaccia or pasta dishes with seasonal produce that Emanuele will teach you how to replicate in your own home kitchen. Enjoy a leisurely lunch overlooking our Mediterranean herb garden and take a stroll in the nearby farm hamlet before returning to Ragusa.
Departures from Syracuse, with shopping at the outdoor market may also be arranged on request.
